Goodtimes Cafe...is the epitome of what a classic cafe should be: quiet, cool, with a bit of glitz and crazy decor! It's a unique blend o the ethnic and the surrealist..
Well, if you've met the creator of this unique showplace, you can understand the spirit...that floats like a magical whiff around this place, giving it some of that precious ambience. Meet Ed Tabancura, artist, interior decorator and poet—Goodtimes Cafe's soft-spoken, witty and very, very talented owner. No fancy credentials nor bombastic oratory from Ed—no need, really, the place speaks for itself.
...there is a kind of old world charm to the place, old wooden tables with rattan bindings, a houseful of pricesless objects d' art, driftwood for chairs, bamboo seats along cool corners.
The menu, frankly I haven't yet seen, for I was enamored of the place at first bite. But from friends I gather the food is A-okay. Though one tends to forget the stomach with so much to look at! - Dateline Dipolog
If you have come to see, you must give the place enough time, some kind of reverential pace—so you will have time for each space and object. - Lina Sagaral Reyes
My first impression of the place was lasting. Looking deeply at the eclectic collections ranging from small found objects to the huge indigenous installations while listening to the soft music that spread all over the area, all at once I fell in love with the place...- Don Gurrea
